Our Box Office team often receive enquiries from passionate patrons disappointed to have to cancel their attendance due to accessibility, availability, financial or geographical circumstance. Fortunately, the world-class chamber music which Musica Viva Australia tours to audiences across Australia is also recorded for broadcast by our media partners, ABC Classic, and we invite you to enjoy these concerts, from home, as part of our Broadcast Club.

Broadcast Club helps us remain connected to audiences who may no longer be able to attend our concerts in person. Before each concert broadcast, members receive (via mail or email) details and access information regarding the upcoming broadcast, as well as a concert guide (printed in large font for those receiving physical mail).

Even if you are able to join us for a live performance, you can re-live your experience! Everyone is welcome to tune in to the pre-recorded broadcasts from our national mainstage program, featuring beloved repertoire performed by emerging and established musicians, as well as new commissions and fresh discoveries.

Becoming part of the Broadcast Club is simple:

Contact Sophie Wolff-Wigley, Philanthropy Co-ordinator, with your request to join using the following details:

  1. Email: philanthropy@musicaviva.com.au
    Phone: 0434 958 795
  2. Please specify your preference to receive Broadcast Club via physical mail or email, and provide your address details.

This free service is intended to bring a little of the concert hall experience direct to anyone who wishes to join, whatever their level of engagement has been with MVA in the past, and we are always thrilled to welcome new members to our Broadcast Club community!

Our next broadcast, at 1pm on Friday 14 February, will be the Goldners Farewell Concert featuring the incomparable Goldner String Quartet. We highly recommend you tune in for this memorable performance, to discover or re-live the magic of a special string quartet – named after Richard Goldner, founder of Musica Viva Australia – which has played together across three decades.

You can find access and updated broadcast information here and via the ABC Classic website.
