Special residencies in South Australia continue to expand

Students enjoying a Musica Viva In Schools concert

Musica Viva South Australia (SA) will be delivering four long-term music residencies in disadvantaged schools thanks to the support of a growing group of SA donors, PAF’s, trusts and foundations including the Day Family Foundation; Aldridge Family; STARS; Libby Raupach and Mark Lloyd; Carthew Family; Lang Foundation; Thyne Reid Foundation and FWH Foundation.

The schools who will receive residency programs this year are Alberton Primary, Aldinga Beach B-7 School, Elizabeth Downs Primary and Elizabeth South Primary. Each residency is tailored to the individual needs of each school with common elements across residencies including access to Musica Viva In Schools Live Performance Plus program; instrumental workshops with professional local musicians and performances and school community showings.
