Professional Development Webinars

To help teachers navigate the current challenges of teaching music online, we are hosting a series of free accredited professional development webinars, running from 4 to 14 May. The webinars are a new addition to our Musica Viva In Schools program, and are free to those who have booked a performance in 2020.

Join us for a one-hour professional development session where our expert presenter, Jemma Tabet, will explore strategies and activities specific to the Musica Viva in Schools program you have booked to captivate and engage your students during this unsettling time.

Each session will cover a specific MVIS ensemble, and you will be guided through our curriculum aligned online resources and brand new online student learning journeys, designed with remote learning in mind.  Further, you will have the unique opportunity to meet the musicians prior to your concert.

After each webinar, Jemma will host an optional 15 minute Q&A session to answer any additional questions you may have.

Find a session below and register via Zoom Webinar. Upon registration, you will receive a unique event link via email. All times shown in AEST.
