For Primary and Middle School Teachers F-8

Musica Viva Australia’s Education program provides teachers professional development opportunities to support their teaching of music education in Australian schools. Teachers can attend face-to-face and online workshops in all States and Territories that are aimed at both generalist and music specialist teachers. All workshops are curriculum aligned to the relevant State music syllabus and aligned to AITSL Professional Standards for Teachers.

MVA workshops are presented by the MVA Professional Development Manager and experienced music education specialists. All workshops are interactive and offer teachers the opportunity to build their practical skills and confidence in teaching classroom music and provide teachers with creative ideas for use in the classroom. Our workshops provide opportunities for observation and reflection and focus on student learning and teaching strategies. MVA provides a space for teachers to connect with other teachers in a collaborative way.
