Musica Viva Sessions - Zephyr Quartet

26 Sep - 26 Sep 2018

Experience an exciting take on the 300-year-old tradition of the string quartet, handmade but decidedly modern (much like crafted gin!), as Musica Viva Sessions makes its Adelaide debut with award-winning string ensemble, Zephyr Quartet.

Grab a G&T on arrival, courtesy of Prohibition Liquor Co, before joining the musicians as they explore the current landscape of modern classical music - all in the surrounds of an urban gin distillery.

Mixing up a program of string works by contemporary master Philip Glass, Australian composer Kate Moore and some of the players’ own works, Zephyr shares its distinct musical world.
