For the third live streamed concert in Musica Viva’s Discover collection, escape daily life with an energetic performance from Bernadette Harvey. Live streamed from a stunning location surrounded by beautiful artwork, allow your senses to be overcome with the charm of an intimate solo piano recital. This is a unique opportunity to watch a musician at work from an up close and personal vantage point possible only through an online concert.

An acclaimed musician and teacher, Bernadette has cemented her place on the world stage with her innovative musicianship, pushing boundaries with her captivating performances and an avid supporter of new music. Her unbelievable virtuosity and dazzling high energy will be on full display in an evening of electrifying music.

Bernadette will perfectly demonstrate  the brilliance and warmth of the piano in an entertainingly diverse program. Bernadette will explore her freshly renewed love of Chopin’s work, included in the repertoire of this concert. Plus, she will showcase the humour and drama in Australian composer Donald Hollier’s song-inspired Second Sonatina, as well capture the pure glee in Kevin Puts’ super-charged Alternating Currents.

Artists appearing in the series are supported by donations from our Artists’ Fund which allows us to offer flexible pricing from $5 to $25.
