Important Venue Information - Melbourne
Due to construction work at the Southbank precinct, your travel plans to and from the show may be affected. Please read the information below carefully to find out how to get to the Melbourne Recital Centre.
Arriving by Car: Sturt Street will be closed to car traffic between Grant Street and Kavanagh Street, and additional parts Southbank Boulevard will closed. We do not recommend using the Ballet Centre Car Park during this period as the walk to the Centre is particularly long due to crossing closures. The quickest way to the Melbourne Recital Centre and the Southbank Theatre is from the Arts Centre Car Park. Use the top exit (closest to the NGV), turn left, cross Southbank Boulevard at the lights and then proceed down Southbank Boulevard.
Being dropped off: Dodds Street is the best location for car and coach drop-offs and pick-ups, and there are four disabled parking bays there.
Please allow additional time to get to the venue. Southbank Boulevard roadworks are continuing and will impact your access to the venue, see below for directions from Melbourne Recital Centre.
