"We honestly can't wait for our time in Melbourne! To be selected as one of the eight trios is something we didn't expect. The exciting thing about chamber music is that, as a player, you get to embody so many roles. You play together, but you can also be a soloist, an accompanist, a teammate. It’s rewarding and almost addictive." Alexandra Van Beveren, violin
The international career of the Mosa Trio took off after winning numerous prizes. They won third prize and audience prize at Concours International de Musique de Chambre de Lyon, the second prize at the 31st FNAPEC Concours européen Musique d’Ensemble (2017, FR), the second prize and honorary prize for the most beautiful performance of the obligatory contemporary piece at the International Orlando Competition (2015, NL), the ‘Supernova – the Future Sound of Classical Music’ in Brussels (2014, BE) & the third prize, the audience award and the young jury award at the Concours International de Musique de Chambre d’Illzach (2013, FR).
"It’s always a great pleasure for the audience to attend one of their concerts,” Vincent Coq, Trio Wanderer. The exciting choices in programming make a concert by the Mosa Trio a unique experience.
Since it’s foundation in 2010, the Mosa Trio has played in many big venues in Belgium and the Netherlands such as Concertgebouw Amsterdam and performed around the globe in amongst others the Slovenska Filharmonia (Slovakia), the Sichuan Conservatory of Music (China) and at the Festival International de Piano de La Roque d’Anthéron (France).
