The Estivo Trio has quickly established itself as one of Australia's premiere chamber ensembles since its formation at the inaugural Sydney Conservatorium of Music Estivo Summer Chamber Music Festival in Verona, Italy. Bringing together three outstanding young musicians of remarkable talent, passion and experience, the Trio was the only Australian piano trio selected for the 2015 Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition. Since then they have toured Asia, performed in the Mimir Festival in Fort Worth, Texas and at the Melbourne Recital Centre.
The Estivo Trio is offering two diverse programs in 2019, both featuring much loved Romantic classics alongside rarely performed masterpieces and one of Elena Kats-Chernin’s most popular works. Both programs feature duo works, showcasing the virtuosity and musicality of violinist Fox Chan and cellist Jonathan Békês alongside the brilliance of pianist Ying Ho
