Family Fun



Friday 21 April 11am - 3pm

A school holiday treat for children of all ages to immerse themselves in the joy of ensemble music. Spend the day alongside our resident musicians, have the chance to try an instrument, talk to musicians and composers, explore musical interactive books and more.

Activities to include: mini pop up concerts with Musica Viva In Schools groups Teranga and Zeeko, paint a piano, create a musical sculpture, try an instrument, interactive music making, learn some African dance moves!

Doctor Stovepipe is the newest member of Musica Viva’s family of fantastic musicians and will join the Festival for a special concert for you and your family that will introduce you to the joys of small ensemble music. Doctor Stovepipe is sure to delight with their healthy dose of ragtime, swing, old timey and hokum blues.
