Pinchas Zukerman is a superstar of the violin world, performing as soloist and director in the finest concert halls around the globe. He is especially famous for his work with young artists for the Zukerman Chamber Players – since chamber music is at the core of classical performance. In the Trio he is joined by leading Canadian cellist Amanda Forsyth, whose extensive musical achievements won her a coveted JUNO Award; and by their virtuoso friend, Angela Cheng, the first Canadian to win the prestigious Montreal International Piano Competition, among other honours. The Trio’s love of playing together makes their performances a joy for listeners, and has led to critically acclaimed appearances on five continents. The intimate size and perfect acoustics of the Verbrugghen Hall are an ideal setting for experiencing this legendary ensemble.
