An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Musica Viva's Development team as our Individual Giving Manager. This role will work on the delivery of the Company’s philanthropy program, specifically annual giving campaigns, annual giving and major gifts (NSW) and fundraising events as well as departmental analysis and reporting.
The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues across all areas of the company, including Marketing, Education, Finance and the Artistic Team.
Key tasks include:
- Implementation of at least two fundraising campaigns per year, including End Of Financial Year
- Management of all philanthropic processes and reporting in Tessitura CRM database
- Oversee design and marketing for philanthropy events and programs
- Stewardship of NSW donors
- Assist in the identification and cultivation of leads and prospects
Evening and weekend work will be required on occasion. Possibility of interstate travel.
This is a full-time, permanent position to commence as soon as possible.
Who you are:
We are looking for someone with a minimum of three years’ experience in a philanthropy role, with superior communications, project management and interpersonal skills. You will thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment, and have the ability to juggle multiple campaigns and projects at any one time.
You will be detail-orientated, with experience working in a database (preferably Tessitura).
Arts fundraising experience preferred, but the role would also suit an experienced CRM or Account Manager looking to move into the sector.
