Angela Hewitt

Angela is hailed as the “pre-eminent Bach pianist of our time’ and has a swag of accolades, including Gramophone Artist of the Year 2006, the inaugural BBC Radio 3 Listener’s Award, and an OBE in 2006. Angela completed an 11 year project to record all the major keyboard works of Bach in 2005.

Australian String Quartet

Based in Adelaide, the ASQ has won more international chamber music competitions than any other ensemble in Australian history. It has toured extensively throughout Europe and Japan as well as in Australia and New Zealand.

Bernadette Balkus

Since her return from America in 1997, where she performed and taught for 8 years, Bernadette Balkus, has worked non-stop playing solo and duo recitals, appearing in festivals and orchestras, recording CDs and remains passionately committed to education.

Dimity Hall

Dimity is violinist with the Goldner String Quartet. Her solo debut recording, 'The Lark Ascending' by Vaughan Williams has been released by ABC Classics.

Eggner Trio

Three young, charismatic Austrian brothers, the Eggner Trio combine individual virtuosity with breathtaking en-semble playing. Their repertoire extends from Beethoven to contemporary works.

Ian Munro has emerged over recent years as one of Australia's most distinguished and awarded musicians, with a career that has taken him to thirty countries in Europe, Asia, North America and Australasia.

Irina Morozova

One of Australia’s leading violists, Irina is a foundation member of both the Australia Ensemble and the Goldner String Quartet and regularly appears as a soloist with major Australian orchestras.

Jerusalem Quartet

Famed for its blazing intensity, the Jerusalem Quartet is currently Musica Viva’s Quartet In Residence and has delighted audiences in Australia in recent years with their impassioned performances.

Juilliard String Quartet

Formed over 60 years ago, the Juilliard String Quartet is a living legend, regaled as the ‘First Family’ of chamber music in the US. Justly feted for its bold interpretation of the classics, the Quartet is equally celebrated for pioneer-ing new works and has dozens of major premieres to its name.

Julian Smiles

Julian is cellist with the Goldner String Quartet and was formerly principal cellist with the Australian Chamber Orchestra. He has performed and recorded an enormous amount of chamber music both here and overseas.

Michael Kieran Harvey

Michael’s distinctive piano style has been recognised by numerous national and international awards, including the Grand Prix in the Ivo Pogorelich Piano Competition (Pasadena) and the Debussy Medal (Paris). His recordings are regularly nominated in the ARIAs and APRAs.

Sally-Anne Russell

Mezzo-soprano, Sally-Anne, has performed in America, the Netherlands, Austria, the UK, Italy, New Zealand, Japan and Canada as well as touring extensively in Australia with all the symphony orchestras. Sally-Anne also performs with Opera Australia.

Sara Macliver

Sara Macliver is one of Australia’s most popular and versatile artists, appearing in opera, concert and recital per-formances and on numerous recordings. She is regarded as one of the leading exponents of Baroque repertoire in Australia.

The Idea of North

An a capella group formed eight years ago, The Idea of North has shaped a new sound in vocal performance with eclectic reinterpretations of jazz, soul and gospel songs, plus new arrangements of Stevie Wonder, Sting and Bee Gees music.

The Song Company

Since its inception in 1984, The Song Company has developed into one of the most interesting and outstanding vocal ensembles anywhere in the world. The group's repertoire covers vocal music from the 10th century to the present day and is unique in its stylistic diversity.
