The Musica Viva Festival audience has the unique opportunity to observe AYO Chamber Music Camp ensembles being coached by some of the world's finest musicians. These intensive workshops will see the Julliard String Quartet and the Jerusalem Quartet sharing their wisdom with young string quartet musicians. Star pianists Angela Hewitt and Ian Munro be working with piano trios. Two 3 hour masterclasses will run simultaneously in the Barnet Long Room and the Justice & Police Museum over three mornings. The artist mentors will swap venues half way through, allowing both students and audiences to experience the coaching style of each of them. The students will perform the repertoire they have worked on in concerts on the following day. Join them to witness the effect of the masterclasses.
