Hands on Hindson has been developed by Musica Viva Australia with the support of The Ian Potter Foundation.
Take your students on a journey exploring the glorious music of the Baroque through Handel’s Concerto Grosso in D Major opus 6 no 5. Discover the compositional techniques used by Handel including ornamentation, imitation and pedal point. Listen to recordings by British early music group Florilegium performing on the period instruments. Scores and recordings are also on the site, which enable students to play along.
