FAQS
What happens if I can’t attend a concert due to other commitments?
If you are a subscriber and can’t attend a concert, take advantage of our ticket exchange option. This allows you to change your ticket(s) to another subscription concert of your choice (subject to availability).
When do I need to subscribe?
Subscription renewals close Friday 19 October 2007 in all centres. To ensure subscribers have their seating secured before single tickets go on sale, subscriber seating must be fully processed by this date. If we haven’t been able to contact you and/or you haven’t renewed your subscription by Friday 19 October 2007, you will lose your renewable seating. If you are a new subscriber, subscriptions close two weeks prior to the first concert. DIY subscriptions are available throughout the year.
You’ll receive the best available seating at the time of booking.
Do you offer student and Under 30 subscriptions?
Yes, a limited number of seats are available in all price reserves to people under 30 years of age at the time of booking. Student subscribers receive reduced prices and are allocated best available seating at time of booking. Please enclose proof of age with your booking for Under 30 subscriptions and proof of full-time enrolment for student subscriptions. If you do not supply proof of age or student ID, your seating allocation will be delayed.
How will I know you have received my booking?
On receipt of your booking an acknowledgement card will be sent to you.
What happens if I lose my tickets?
If you lose or misplace your tickets, we will issue you with replacement tickets on the night of the concert from the Musica Viva Desk or the venue box offi ce at no cost.
Am I eligible for a concession?
Concession subscriptions are available in all price reserves to recipients of means tested pensions or benefi ts. Travel Cards, Seniors Cards and other non-means tested cards cannot be accepted for this purpose. A photocopy of proof of eligibility must be attached to the booking form or produced when booking in person. Please have your card ready to provide details if making
a telephone booking. When booking online or by phone, you must mail copies of the relevant proofs to the Musica Viva Box Office. If you do not supply proof of concession, your seating allocation will be delayed.
What subscription packages are available?
There are three subscription packages you can choose from: Gold, DIY Standard or DIY Flexi. A Gold subscription is a full subscription that includes every concert in your city (in Sydney there is an 8pm or 7pm series). A DIY Standard subscription allows you to choose a smaller package of any 4 concerts (3 concerts in Brisbane) from the Gold series. A DIY Flexi subscription is a fl exible new way to attend the concerts of your choice — you can decide up to 48 hours before a concert
